Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Delhi to Haridwar

Your sacred journey begins with a morning pickup from Delhi as we drive toward the holy city of Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and refresh yourself. As the sun sets, head to Har Ki Pauri to witness the world-renowned Ganga Aarti. The sight of thousands of floating lamps and the rhythmic chants of priests create an unforgettable spiritual atmosphere. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Haridwar.

Day 2 – Haridwar to Barkot

After breakfast, we drive toward Barkot, the gateway to Yamunotri. The route takes you through scenic mountain bends and lush greenery. We pass near Mussoorie, offering glimpses of the “Queen of Hills” before descending toward the Yamuna valley. Barkot offers a cool climate and stunning views of the Bandarpoonch peak. Check into your hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 3 – Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Today marks your first shrine visit. We drive to Janki Chatti and begin a 6-km trek to the Yamunotri Temple. You can walk or hire a pony/palki. After a holy dip in the natural hot springs, offer your prayers to Goddess Yamuna. The trek back rewards you with stunning valley views. Return to Barkot for a well-deserved dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Barkot to Uttarkashi

We head toward Uttarkashi, a town often compared to Kashi (Varanasi) for its spiritual significance. Situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, Uttarkashi houses the ancient Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Spend your evening visiting the temple and soaking in the tranquil riverside vibes. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your hotel in Uttarkashi.

Day 5 – Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Experience a divine drive through the Harsil Valley to reach Gangotri Temple, the seat of Goddess Ganga. The emerald waters of the Bhagirathi and the towering deodar forests make this route exceptionally beautiful. Perform pooja at the temple and spend time in meditation by the river. We drive back to Uttarkashi in the evening for dinner and rest.

Day 6 – Uttarkashi to Guptkashi

After breakfast, we proceed toward Guptkashi. The drive offers magnificent views of the Mandakini River. Guptkashi is famous for the Ardhnarishwar Temple and serves as the primary base for the journey to Kedarnath. Ensure you rest well tonight, as the upcoming trek to the Shiva shrine requires significant physical energy. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 7 – Guptkashi to Kedarnath

We drive to Sonprayag/Gaurikund to start the 16-km trek to Kedarnath Temple. Whether you trek on foot, take a pony, or fly via helicopter, the sight of the temple against the Kedarnath peak is awe-inspiring. Attend the evening aarti and feel the powerful energy of this Jyotirlinga. You will stay overnight in basic guest houses or camps near the temple.

Day 8 – Kedarnath to Guptkashi

Wake up early for a peaceful morning darshan of Lord Shiva. After seeking blessings, begin your descent back to Gaurikund. Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 9 – Guptkashi to Joshimath/Pipalkoti

We continue our journey toward the final shrine, driving through the heart of the Garhwal region. We pass through several “Prayags” (confluences) where different Himalayan rivers meet. The drive to Joshimath or Pipalkoti provides a changing landscape of rugged cliffs and deep gorges. Check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10 – Joshimath/Pipalkoti – Badrinath – Joshimath/Pipalkoti

Today you visit Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Bathe in the Tapt Kund before entering the colorful shrine. Later, explore Mana Village, the Saraswati River origin, and Bhim Pul. The spiritual aura of this “Vaikuntha on Earth” is unmatched. In the evening, we drive back to Joshimath or Pipalkoti for your overnight stay.

Day 11 – Joshimath/Pipalkoti to Rishikesh

We begin our return journey toward the plains, arriving in Rishikesh, the “Yoga Capital of the World.” Visit the iconic suspension bridges, Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. If time permits, attend the evening aarti at Triveni Ghat. This town offers the perfect setting to reflect on your spiritual journey before returning to the city. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
